IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT- REMOVE IT!

First off...CONGRATULATIONS on choosing the route of getting saline removal!!
I know this choice may not have been easy since most of us want to just plop new color over what we already have but this will NEVER work!!
Your healing may be unpredictable and your old color most likely will come back. You risk more scar tissue and wasting money on trying to get results that will never happen.
TRUST ME...saline removal is one of the ONLY ways we can try to start fresh with our brows.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
You will get much better results when you properly prep your skin. The eyebrow area must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive and non-irritated. Preparing for your appointment is just as important for good healed results as post care. Failure to follow pre-care may result in you being sent home the day of your appointment, so please read the following carefully! Here's how to get your skin ready for your brow procedure:
2 WEEKS BEFORE:
-
BOTOX: Botox must be done at least 14 days prior to your appointment.
-
SKIN TREATMENTS/ HAIR: No waxing, tweezing, threading, facials, peels, laser treatments or electrolysis 2 weeks prior to your appointment. We need your skin to be strong, non-sensitive and non-irritated. It actually is beneficial for me to see your brows grown out and in their natural state. I can clean them up during your appointment.
-
SUN EXPOSURE: Be mindful of sun exposure before your appointment, absolutely no tanning and no sunburned skin for your procedure. Not only will this be painful for you, but tanned or sunburnt skin is “damaged” skin, applying a tattoo to this WILL give you poorly healed results.
-
TOPICALS: Please refrain from using any retin-a products around the treated area for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
ONE WEEK BEFORE:
-
VITAMINS/ TOPICALS: No Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior to your procedure. These are blood thinners and will effect your bleeding during your procedure.
24 HOURS BEFORE:
-
NO ALCOHOL OR CAFFEINE To minimize bleeding during the procedure, please avoid any alcohol and caffeine.
-
BLOOD THINNING MEDICATIONS such as Ibuprofen and Advil should be avoided. These are blood thinners.
DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT:
-
PLAN AHEAD: Please check traffic and arrive on time to your appointment. If you are more then 20 minutes late we may have to reschedule.
-
WASH YOUR HAIR: You will need to keep your brows dry for the next 10-14 days, washing your hair day before or day of is recommended so you’re not hassling in the shower for the first few days.
-
AVOID EXERCISE: This will increase the blood flow and cause excessive bleeding during the appointment - leading to poor healed results.
-
MAKEUP: This is totally your preference, we will be taking photos, so please come however you are most comfortable. If there is a certain way you fill in your brows, it is helpful to see how you are used to shape and color them.
What is the healing process?
Day 1: Removal area will be red, possibly rashy looking.
Day 2-10: removal area will have a scab over it.
Day 10-4 weeks post procedure: scabs will fall off naturally. After the scabs have fallen off, skin will appear pinkish. During this time, Vitamin E oil and SPF are crucial!
What is the aftercare for saline tattoo removal?
Saline Tattoo Removal Client Aftercare Instructions
Aftercare isn't too complicated however it is critical to follow all instructions to prevent complications, scarring and to achieve optimum results. Please read carefully.
-
KEEP AREA CLEAN and open to the air. Do not cover with a Band-Aid or anything else, leave open to air. Air/oxygen provides good and faster healing. You should not be touching the area at all but if you find yourself needing to please make sure your hands are exceptionally clean.
-
CLEAN BY BLOTTING AREA and using saline spray provided 3 to 4 times a day using a fresh napkin or paper towel. NO ICE.
-
DO NOT SOAK the treated area in water. You can shower as normal but keep the area out of the shower spray the best you can and do not let the area stay wet for more than a few minutes. It is best to keep it dry but if you do get it wet gently pat dry. Blot with saline immediately following a shower.
-
NO BATHING, SWIMMING, SAUNAS, HOT TOBS, OR TANNING. NO EXCEPTIONS.
-
DO NOT disrupt the scabbing process (i.e. no picking, scratching, etc.) All scabbing needs to fall off naturally. If you force or pick a scab off you will disrupt the process and possibly cause scarring. It is critical to keep the scabs on as long as possible to achieve optimum results.
-
Topical cosmetics may not be applied over the procedural area to coverup or hide the appearance of the wound until AFTER the brow as completely healed (usually 10-14 days). Cosmetics may contain ingredients that are contraindicative to healing wounds and may contain bacteria
-
TREAT AREA WITH TLC. DO NOT DO ANYTHING AT ALL THAT COULD CAUSE ISSUES OR PROBLEMS TO THE TREATED AREA.
-
ONCE ALL SCABBING HAS NATURALLY FALLEN OFF, apply one drop LI-FT Healing Oil 3 to 4 times throughout the day for a minimum of 4 weeks, or until next lightening session. DO NOT start applying the Oil UNTIL all scabbing has naturally and completely fallen off.
-
It is our goal to keep the area as dry as possible until all scabs have naturally fallen off
-
It is important to the process and integrity of the skin that 8 full weeks of healing take place before another lightening session can be done. No exceptions.
-
Results cannot be foreseen, predicted or guaranteed.
-
If you will notice any sign of the infection consult with a doctor
